  • Organic food is considered healthier because of higher nutrients and lower pesticide residue but do you want to pay the higher price tag?
  • Scratch and dents will give you serious savings. However, the savings may cost you your heath due to botulinum toxins.
  • Hey! The clerk went on a break! What do we grab first? Steaks? Baby formula? No! Grab that machine!

  • Remember as a kid we wanted our toys to be real? Have you ever thought the same about your food?
  • This is how it feels everyday at work in the checkstand: People cheering you on, girls screaming at you, and music blaring in the background.
  • If your local grocery store sells homemade honey. You should definitely think twice about it.

Cool site! I also work in the grocery store business as a supervisor and I feel your pain. I wish I had thought of this site myself.

Here’s a true situation that happened to me last week. This is not recommended for those of you who have trouble with disturbing visuals.
Two ladies come to my line and unload their groceries. One says, “I heard you’re the manager. I have a complaint! Your bathroom is disgusting. I have never seen anything so bad. YOU NEED TO FIX IT! Nobody should ever have to use it in those conditions.”
I replied, “Wow! Ok I’ll have someone go take care of it.”

It’s crazy busy in the store. First of the month and I’m down a cashier. I’ve got 2 courtesy clerks and I know their outside being tortured in our bottle room. I was trapped and she was ready to punish me with her complaint. Before I can call someone to look at the bathroom and fix the problem, the women starts raising her voice, getting so excited and is obviously worked up over it.

I was sure she wanted me to take a look at how bad it was myself. Knowing that I wouldn’t be able to leave my check stand I was a little relieved. My hand is touching the intercom to make a page over the PA system.
But I paused one second to hear her yell at me. “It was so bad in there that I had to take a bowel movement standing up.”

She wasn’t even embarrassed by telling me. I was so utterly horrified at what she said. Lucky for everyone in the store I paused before I let her voice tell all my customers and employees about her situation.

I was speechless and stopped ringing up their stuff. Holding back my anger the best I could. I said, “Thanks lady! I really didn’t need that visual from you. I’ll get someone on it immediately.” Even though it was disturbing to me to image how bad could it have been before she got in there I was afraid to lose a valuable employee to their unexpected bathroom fate.

I asked young “Johnny boy” to clean the bathroom, but told him, “if it’s too bad come, but an OUT of ORDER sign on it and come get me and to do it.
