Things People Buy – Axe Products

You seen the commercials, guy gets mobbed by girls after using Axe body spray. I’ve used it a couple times and never once received any compliments for the way I smelled other than “whatever you put on, its too much.” Guys are suckers for gimmicks and if we believe an intoxicating body spray will make women attracted to us then were going all out with the gel, body wash and spray.

I see a customer with long spiky hair who appears to be on his way to a date. He’s holding a dozen of roses in one hand while he empties out his hand basket full of Axe products.

Me: Axe hair gel too?

Axe Man: Anything to get ahead, I’ve been trying to talk to her for months!

Me: Nice touch with the flowers, that should alone win her over.

I can proudly say I bought some Axe shower gels wayyyyy back before they started that little advertising blitz about the Chick Magnet powers of Axe and I liked the stuff. Once they they began advertising and I saw that they were aiming at a demographic about half my age, I just stopped using it. Now my son uses it but I haven’t asked him about its magical qualities!
