Being on hold is one of the most irritating things anyone can endure. Your just hoping for someone to pick up on the other end and sometimes they never do. What’s even more annoying is while on hold your listening to their selection of music that seems like its from a Classical Music for Sleep CD and you really don’t want to go to sleep while on hold. But, if your lucky you might be on hold listening to something you really like.
Me: It’s your neighborhood grocery store, How may I help you?
Bold to stay on Hold: Dude! I didn’t know Eddie Van Halen’s Eruption is your on hold song!
Me: Oh didn’t know either, what can I help you with?
Bold to stay on Hold: Can you put me on hold again?
Me: Uh.. ok.
The phone dials back to the checkstand that it was picked up, if someone is still on hold.
Me: Hello?
Bold to stay on Hold: Dude, its the best part. Can you put me on hold again?
Me: Umm.. suure.
Phone dials back… again.
Me: OK, ready?
Bold to stay on Hold: Song’s not over yet, dude.
Me: …
