Fill it Up, Please

If our grocery store manages to have 365 accident days free, we’re rewarded with a 300 dollar gift card for store parties and new equipment. Last time we accomplish this task, we had several parties with food from the deli and pastries from the bakery. We also bought new chairs for our break room and my favorite, purified water pitchers.

Having purified water pitchers helps us save at least a dollar a day from buying bottles of water and for those who are not big fans of drinking tap water. The problem with having purified water pitchers is they have to be refilled constantly and most of the time they’re not. We have to find a way to encourage co-workers to refill the pitchers after every use. It had to be something clever like the old VHS tapes we used to rent…

AHA! On my break, I played with the label maker and came up with the best slogan! It’s even made with “Myspace”, upper then lowercase sequence lettering for the young grocery clerks…

I need to make a sign like that for the one in my fridge!

    Sweet!
Let’s hope the idea gets across…sometimes it seems you have to hit people in the head with the sign to get them to pay attention.

I love those water filter pitchers. They say that you should dispose them after a month, whatever! I keep my filter going at least 2 or 3 months, the water is fine. I think it’s a scam Brita has going, you know what I mean?

I love innovative ideas! How’s it working out?

@ Diane, it’s working out quite well. Usually filled and always cold!
