WENATCHEE — Police responded in force to Albertsons grocery store Tuesday evening and arrested a man who threatened to shoot a store clerk if store personnel didn’t sell him beer.
According to one of approximately five Wenatchee police officers at the scene, the man, who was intoxicated but unarmed, became belligerent when store staff refused the sale.
The incident occurred at approximately 6 p.m. No one was injured, police said.
